Starting to fall in line with my job a little more. It's quite a bit more hectic than I envisioned it. I told myself that I would never drop "names" on here, and I will stick with that policy, but yesterday I met a very very very famous dude from an 80's rock band. He was a really cool guy and totally not what I expected. Oh, yeah, he was skinny as hell, I suppose a lot of years of over-indulging in drugs. He was a cool guy, and I ended up getting my back-stage laminate signed by him.
So, after this weekend, I get 9 days off at home. I am really looking forward to it. Been talking with some friends back home, and I guess there was a murder in the neighborhood where my friend grew up, and her parents still live there. Murders in my town are pretty uncommon. I do have some plans with friends when I get back, and I have been talking to Amy again. I am still not too sure where I stand with her. We are friends, but friends who took things to a different level. Not that I haven't done those kinds of things with my other friends, but with Amy it was different. It was more like a weekend getaway with a lover, and not friends having fun. At least that's how it felt to me.
More rambling here.................I got to drive some really, really, really cool cars yesterday. There is an exotic car dealership here where I am, and he has a pretty high presence in this market. Anyways, he has some of his "show cars" at this expo, and yesterday morning he came and took me, "the Rocker", a Portugese Playboy Playmate and some other people to his car lot and let us drive some of his cars. I drove a 1992 Ferrari F40 (I could barely change gears, the clutch was super stiff), A 2010 Audi R8 (the absolute best car of the day), a 1989 Lamborghini Countach, and a 2010 Chevy Duramax with a 12" lift, and a 1000+HP engine. So, yeah, that was pretty cool. I took the Audi and the Lambo on the freeway and got to open them up a little, but the Ferrari was too hard to drive and the Duramax scared the shit out of me. Yeah, a small town chick who is scared of a pickup, but you had to see it to believe it.
On a completely different note.............I was stuck backstage with a know-it-all salesman fuckhead from some diesel additive company yesterday, and he starts grilling me about politics. I don't like talking politics or religion with anyone, it just never ends well, and told him so. He kept on with me, and we ended up getting in a pretty heated discussion. Problem was, he was an idiot! I am not saying that because he disagreed with me, I am saying it because he was an ignorant fuck who thought he knew it all, and didn't. I know where I stand, and no salesman is going to change my mind with his idiot arguments right out of the left-wing playbook. Anyhow................I am very opinionated, enough said.
